The Charlotte Street Arts Centre and our Executive Director, Courtney Steeves, were featured in a post by Love for Local NB this week! Their campaign aims to highlight everything local in New Brunswick, and we’re so happy they chose to profile CSAC. You can see their post on Facebook here.
The Connexion ARC Member's Show kicks off this week in the Charlotte Glencross and Penny Galleries! There will be an opening reception on July 22nd from 4-6 pm (COVID-19 protocols in place) and the exhibit will be on display until September 13. Be sure to check out some of this incredible art!
Wabash Cannonball by Alan Grabelsky
One of our tenants, Alan Grabelsky, currently has a solo show at the Saint John Arts Centre called LOVE SONGS: A JOURNAL OF FATEFUL ENCOUNTERS. This exhibit features 28 screenprints by Grabelsky and will be up until September 3, 2021. About this series, Grabelsky says:
“Each of these prints is my attempt to capture and make manifest a particular moment in time. They represent an experience that included a visual component, but more importantly, a feeling component, that struck a chord deep within me.”
