Exhibitions are selected by a panel of respected artists, art educators, and enthusiasts that comprise our Selection Committee. Exhibitions are scheduled on an ongoing basis, with the jury meeting periodically throughout the year to judge applications. The Charlotte Street Arts Centre is happy to receive applications for both the Charlotte Glencross and Penny Gallery at any time.

In choosing exhibitions, the Charlotte Street Arts Centre will strive to reflect its mandate: integrating the arts and the community and encouraging the development of excellence in the arts, guided by arts professionals. We seek a balance of professional artists, emerging artists, multicultural artists, amateur artists, as well as children’s art and student work.

To apply, submit the completed Submission Form and also:

  • An arts CV (PDF)

  • Artist Statement (One Page Max, PDF)

  • 10 - 15 samples of work that you could exhibit here. Send images by email, with an accompanying image list detailing title, media and dimensions.

    Total submission package must not exceed 8GB in JPEG.

Applications can be emailed to exhibitions@charlottestreetarts.ca (8GB max.) or dropped off at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre Main Office - 732 Charlotte Street - on a flash drive. The main office is located on the ground floor of the new Accessibility Wing (office hours are 9:00 to 1:00 Monday to Friday).
