Fest forward 2022

FEST FORWARD 2022 returns to The Jim Myles Auditorium at Charlotte Street Arts Centre Friday October 14th & Saturday October 15th. Tickets can be bought by clicking here.

FEST FORWARD is an annual music festival for emerging New Brunswick musicians. Taking place between October 14-16, 2022, FEST FORWARD acts get a crash course in the music industry, including professional development training on grants/funding streams, how to pitch and market themselves, a professional video and photos for their press kits along with a showcasing opportunity AND booked festival slot at an upcoming NB music festival. Past emerging artists who have participated in FEST FORWARD include M3D14, Motherhood, and Run The River.

FF 2K16 alum The Tortoise the Hare and the Millionaire will be joining us on Saturday, Oct. 15th! They are a scruffy, rough-around-the-edges Fredericton-based funky-blues-rock sextet. Not content to commit to a single music genre, the group flits effortlessly between blues, rock, funk, reggae, as well as assorted combinations of all these genres. Despite this (or perhaps because of this), their music maintains a certain ‘cohesion’ and sound that is distinctly theirs.
