Artist Bio
Eva Christensen has been painting in watercolour for more than thirty years. Her work has been featured in Created Here Magazine and on the cover of The Fiddlehead. In summer 2023, her solo exhibition "Love This Town" was showcased at the Charlotte Street Art Centre, with upcoming solo exhibitions scheduled at the Saint John Arts Centre (2025) and Charlotte Street Art Centre (2026). Eva is an Elected Member of both the Society of Canadian Artists and the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Working from her home in Hanwell, New Brunswick, Eva creates intimate paintings that feature her family life – her husband, their dogs, and occasionally their cats – in settings throughout the East Coast. She works exclusively from her own photographs, using them to compose scenes that tell stories about daily life. Each painting captures a specific moment – its unique light, location, season, mood, and characters.

Over the last five years, Eva's artistic vision has evolved to focus on storytelling through paint. She finds joy in creating works that share personal narratives and connect with viewers through their shared experiences.
