In 2017, she embarked on her solo career as a singer-songwriter and revealed her mesmerizing vintage folk-rock-country style with the full-length “Joie de vivre”, winner of a Music NB Award in the "Solo Recording of the Year" category.
With her dashing voice and a love of song based on her Chiac oral tradition, Julie Aubé sings sings powerfully, to describe her gratitude, her relationship with her native region and love, of course. Her album "Contentement" was released on September 9, 2022 under Simone Records label.
