Public pharmacare would truly be life-changing for more than 3.4 million people in Canada who currently can’t afford to take their medication as prescribed, and the millions more for whom high drug prices are an incredible financial burden.

We need pharmacare, and we need it now. The Council of Canadians is collaborating with regional and local organizations across the country to organize town halls spotlighting the many, many stories of people struggling with the high cost of medication.
