John Batt was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Since 2017, his instagram account '@canada.gov.ca' - with a focus on the funny and strange side of Canadian history - has amassed well over 50,000 followers. Now splitting his time between Montreal and his cottage in St. Adolphe d'Howard, Quebec, Batt is very excited to be bringing his account back to his hometown for his first ever live presentation format as a one-man show.
