Past Exhibits

Charlotte Street Arts Centre has seen a lot of amazing artists present in the Charlotte Glencross and Penny Galleries over the years. In 2021 we started posting exhibits online, and this page offers a highlight of some past art exhibits.

Jan 25, 2024 - april 3, 2024. “i am here” and “untitled dialogue”.

Featuring a collection of works put together by the River Stone Recovery Centre and Solo Chicken Productions. Also, a collection of works by Yousef Hussain.

NOV 17TH, 2023 - JAN 20TH, 2024. “ART IN THE CENTRE” and “FOREST OF INK: A Solo Exhibit”.

Featuring works by tenants of the Charlotte St. Arts Centre in the Charlotte Glencross Gallery and works by Nicholas X. Walsh in the Penny Gallery.


SEPT 21ST, 2023 - NOV 13TH, 2023. “CITY OF FREDERICTON ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE SHOWCASE” and “FREDERICTON ARTS ALLIANCE ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE SHOWCASE”.

Featuring a great variety of works from these two groups.


JULY 20TH, 2023 - SEPT 18TH, 2023. ‘'CHARLOTTE ST. SCHOOL: A WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE” and “FASTER THAN LIGHT”.

Featuring a collection of historical and archival materials involving the Charlotte St. School, provided by the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick and School Days Museum. Faster Than Light featured photographers from the Multicultural Association of Fredericton.


MAY 18TH, 2023 - JULY 16TH, 2023. ‘'LOVE THIS TOWN’ and ‘SMOKE SIGNALS AND RADIO WAVES’.

Featuring Eva Christensen (Love This Town) and Maurice Cormier (Smoke Signals and Radio Waves).


APRIL 13TH, 2023 - MAY 13TH, 2023. ‘FEM: PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITITION’.

Featuring students of NBCCD (Ivy Grenier, Sylvia Loomis, Miriam Torres Lopez, Grace Hallewell).


MARCH 16TH, 2023 - APRIL 12TH, 2023. ‘COMING UP NEXT: A HIGHSCHOOL EXHIBIT’.

Various artists from Fredericton Highschool, École Sainte-Anne, Leo Hayes.
