Centre Facilities

Our 175-seat auditorium is a venue for performing arts with stage lighting and a professional sound system. It features recording-quality acoustics, a new Yamaha grand piano, a digital projector, and chairs and tables available for set-up. Technical support is available. The auditorium is also ideal for meetings, conferences, weddings, birthday parties and other events. See Centre Events for coming attractions.

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre does not operate as a booking agent for independent musicians. Ticket sales for productions at the centre are the responsibility of the client(s). Liquor may not be sold on our premises without a liquor license - applications for a license are available in our administrative office.

Auditorium Rental Fees

Hours of operation: 8am to 11pm
The basic venue rental includes the use of: (a) the stage; (b) audience – seating area for 175 persons maximum; (c) tables and chairs.

• Half day: $115 for up to 4 hours
• Full day: $175 (anything over 4 hours)
• Second and subsequent full days: $115.00
• Use of lighting, sound and/or projection equipment:  $25 additional
• Technician services: $18/hr
• Piano rental: $75/day

• Stage: 32 x 21 ft
• Total area: 32 x 62 ft
• Height stage floor stage to lighting grid: 11 ft

Multi-Purpose Room Rental Fees

• Not-for-profit organizations: $50/day; $25/half day (up to 4 hours); $8/hour
• Other clients: $80/day; $45.00/half day (up to 4 hours); $15.00/hour

Dimensions of Multi-Purpose Room (width x length): 15 x 27 ft

A one-third deposit fee is required to hold either venue.
