Centre Facilities

Our 175-seat auditorium is a venue for performing arts with stage lighting and a professional sound system. It features recording-quality acoustics, a new Yamaha grand piano, a digital projector, and chairs and tables available for set-up. Technical support is available. The auditorium is also ideal for meetings, conferences, weddings, birthday parties and other events. See Centre Events for coming attractions.

Due to the expansion project currently happening at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, some dates may not be available for rent. To inquire about rentals for the Auditorium, please contact Courtney in the office at 454 - 6952 or

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre does not operate as a booking agent for independent musicians. Ticket sales for productions at the centre are the responsibility of the client(s). Liquor may not be sold on our premises without a liquor license - applications for a license are available in our administrative office.

Auditorium Rental Fees. **subject to change upon completion of renovations

Hours available to rent: 8am to 11pm 
The basic venue rental includes the use of: (a) the stage; (b) audience – seating area for 175 persons maximum; (c) tables and chairs.

  • Half day: $140  for up to 4 hours
  • Full day: $220 (anything over 4 hours)
  • Half day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: $160 
  • Weddings:  $750. (includes all rooms in south wing + Gazebo)
  • Second and subsequent full days: $160 
  • Technician services: $18/hr
  • Piano rental: $75/day, hourly rehearsal rate available
  • Sound, lighting, and/or projector: $40/day

Non-profit Rates: $85/day 
$55/half day (up to 4 hours)
$25/hour or any part there of

Regular Rates: $115/day
$85/half day (up to 4 hours)
$25/hour or any part there of

Multi-Purpose Room/Green Room

Due to construction this room will not be available for rent until the Fall of 2017.
