How To Apply

Exhibitions are selected by a panel of respected artists and art educators. Exhibitions are scheduled on an ongoing basis, with the jury meeting once or twice per year. The Charlotte Street Arts Centre is happy to receive applications at any time for review at the next deadline.
In choosing exhibitions, the Charlotte Street Arts Centre will strive to reflect its mandate: integrating the arts and the community and encouraging the development of excellence in the arts, guided by arts professionals. We seek a balance of professional artists, emerging artists, multicultural artists and amateur artists, as well as children’s art and student work.
Applications must include:
- Resume (CV, 3 page max)
- Biography (arts training and exhibition history, up to 500 words)
- Artist statement about the work and what is trying to be achieved (up to 250 words).
- 10 samples of work as images on a CD or by email, with an accompanying numbered image list detailing, title, media and dimensions. Images submitted by email must be no larger than 1024 pixels at the longest dimension, and no more than 150 dpi.
- Upon selection for exhibition, read, agree to and sign Artist Agreement.
Applications can be dropped off at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre administration office (Room 200) or mailed via regular post to:
