Got Video? Gallery

The newly established Got Video? Gallery is the Charlotte Street Arts Centre’s latest attraction. The gallery, a wall-mounted 42” LCD TV, is housed in the main foyer of the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, and is a community resource for arts groups, provided by the Fredericton Arts Alliance through funding received from the City of Fredericton. The Got Video? Gallery aims to present digital media works to the Fredericton and New Brunswick public, the only gallery of its kind in Fredericton. All are welcome to visit the Charlotte Street Arts Centre to pause and view the presentations.

The Charlotte Street Arts Centre seeks ONGOING submissions of contemporary video art and digital images from filmmakers and artists for display on our lobby screen. The selected artworks will be displayed for approximately one month. This opportunity gives artists the ability to have their artwork shown in a high traffic venue in Fredericton. All artists are encouraged to submit videos or digital portfolios.

* Please note, videos and digital images must be suitable for all ages. A headset is provided for video work with sound. Files must be in .mov format.

Please include:

  • Short artist bio
  • Artist Statement/description of the artwork
  • Images of the video or artwork

Please email your proposals or inquiries to: director@charlottestreetarts.ca
