Calling all volunteers!
The Charlotte Street Arts Centre would like to invite you, our current volunteers as well as anyone interested in volunteering with the CSAC, to an informal meet & greet, at the centre in Room 200, on Friday, May 17th from 1-2pm or on Friday, May 24th, also from 1-2pm.
This meet & greet, led by our CSAC Anniversary Program Leader, Billy Doucet, is meant to introduce all of our dedicated volunteers to each other, to new staff members and to brainstorm about new ways that we can help each other make our community the best it can be.
Don't know the centre that well? Billy will give you a tour!
Can't make it either of those days? No worries - just send Billy an email at email@example.com to set up a time to meet and talk about exciting opportunities for getting involved.
May 9, 2013 - July 18, 2013
Come join Joel LeBlanc and Evan Shaw in open door rehearsals during an artist residency at the Charlotte Street Art Center throughout May, June and early July. Together we will explore a series of new, inclusive compositions - pieces that are open enough for anyone to play regardless of technical ability or background. Graphic scores, musical games, cue based conduction and other unusual methods will help us achieve sustained ideas.
At the end of the residency, there will be a concert for the public in the CSAC auditorium. Any revenue collected from the concert will go to the participants.
What: Bring any instrument, electronics, oddities, voice, etc.
When: Every Thursday 7-9pm, starting May 9
Where: The Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte Street, Fredericton
Contact: Joel LeBlanc 476-1034c 455-1172h firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com, 454-6952
